Drum Hoist:

The Drum Hoist carriage will be of mild steel structure. This will have four heavy duty wheels with two of the two front wheel and two in rear. The roof carriage will have one jib on which the pulley is fixed and moved in and out for parking and operation. The hoisting drum is located in the carriage crane. 10 MM wire rope is winded on the drum as per the drawing.

Drum Hoist carriage is design such a way that it can position on the ground and wire rope is loop with pulley on the different level of the building.


Active Jib Arms (Boom)

The main part of the active jib arm is the boom system and for the guidance of the suspension ropes. The jib arm is made of steel hollow section. The jib arm enable the trolley to reach at different part of the elevation.


Wheel Unit

The wheel units are attached to the frame construction of the roof carriage. Wheel units which are manual will traverse on the ground.


Suspended Trolley:

The trolley with length of 1 Mts by 1Mts wide by 70 CM high of tubular construction covered with MS sheets. The trolley will have openable door panel which will open and rest on the slab floor to unload the material on desire floor. This will have M S checkered plate flooring. The safe working load of the trolley will be 1000 kgs. and suitable for operation by one men standing on the ground. Hoisting speed of the trolley will be 15m/min. The will be 250 MM away from the building.


Steel Bracket Building Face:

The steel bracket system consists of I-beam secured to the floor slab structure with chemical anchor bolts. The bracket length is 4.5 mtrs of M S I beam 200 MM X 100 MM. All the nuts, bolts & washers are hot dip galvanized.


One Wire Suspension System

The trolley will be suspended from the steel bracket pulley with 1 wire ropes. One wire rope is coming from the active jib arm of the boom on the ground. on each side from the sprader arm. The wire rope will be routed through the drum hoists for carrying the load.


Overload Device

The trolley will be suspended from the steel bracket pulley which is connected the active jib arm of the boom on the ground and drum hoist is equipped with load cell to cut of the power in case in case the suspended trolley is overloaded.


Corrosion Protection

The entire maintenance unit is painted with epoxy paint in any RAL/NCS colour as required by client.


Control System

The electric cabinet for operating the maintenance unit is installed above the hood of drum hoist carriage and access is easy. Electrical control for all types of movements are dead man type press buttons. Every control element is equipped with an emergency stop button and key operated switch.

Control panel is installed on carriage and one remote control suspended carriage from the jib arm boom.

Length of cable is approx.25m. Size 5x2.5mm2 for max.movement of 40m. Electrical control cables between cradle and roof trolley are 5 core armoured cable.
